Product Specific Information

Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as a ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

Rex1 is involved in the reprogramming of X-chromosome inactivation during the acquisition of pluripotency. It is required for efficient elongation of TSIX, a non-coding RNA antisense to XIST, and binds the DXPas34 enhancer within the TSIX promoter. Rex1 also plays a role in embryonic stem cell self-renewal. [UniProt]
