Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
IdU (Idoxuridine) is a nucleoside analogue, a modified form of deoxyuridine. It is incorporated into viral DNA replication but the iodine atom added to the uracil component blocks base pairing. It is used only topically due to cardiotoxicity and was first synthesized by William Prusoff in the late 1950s.
