The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The SLC26 family comprises sulfate/anion transporters conserved in genomic and protein structures but differing in tissue expression. Members mediate electroneutral Cl⁻/HCO₃⁻ exchange across mammalian plasma membranes.
SLC26A2 (solute carrier family 26, member 2), also known as DTD, EDM4, DTDST, MST153, D5S1708, or MSTP157, is a 739-amino acid diastrophic dysplasia sulfate transporter of the SLC26A/SulP family. It is ubiquitously expressed and may play a role in endochondral bone formation. SLC26A2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein implicated in human chondrodysplasias and is critical for proteoglycan sulfation and cartilage matrix organization.
