The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Fibromodulin is a small interstitial proteoglycan containing leucine-rich repeats and keratan sulfate chains. It interacts with type I and II collagen fibrils, influencing extracellular matrix assembly and inhibiting fibrillogenesis in vitro. It may also modulate TGF-beta activity by sequestering TGF-beta into the extracellular matrix.
