This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

Interferons are widely used therapeutic agents due to their antitumor and antiviral effects and their modulatory effects on the immune system (Biron, 2001; Kirkwood, 2002). These cytokines exert their effects by binding to the Type 1 Interferon Receptor (IFNAR1).
Downregulation of this receptor plays a key role in determining the magnitude and duration of cytokine signaling, which is influenced by phosphorylation of Serine 535 and 539 in IFNAR1 (Kumar et al., 2003).
