Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PLIN5 is a lipid droplet-associated protein that maintains the balance between lipogenesis and lipolysis and regulates fatty acid oxidation in oxidative tissues.
It recruits mitochondria to lipid droplets and regulates lipid droplet homeostasis by controlling fatty acid storage and release.
Acts as a scaffold protein for ABHD5, PNPLA2, and LIPE, modulating triacylglycerol hydrolysis and lipolysis through phosphorylation-dependent mechanisms.
