Target Information
CXCL6 is chemotactic for neutrophil granulocytes. It signals through binding and activation of its receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2. In addition to its chemotactic and angiogenic properties, CXCL6 exhibits strong antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, approximately 90-fold higher compared to CXCL5 and CXCL7.
