Target Information
CNTNAP1 (Contactin-associated protein 1, CASPR)는 contactin-PTPRZ1 복합체와 연관된 190-kDa 단백질로 처음 확인되었습니다. 1,384 아미노산으로 구성된 이 단백질은 세포외 도메인에 여러 단백질-단백질 상호작용 부위를 포함하며, 막관통 도메인과 74 아미노산의 세포질 도메인을 가집니다.
이 단백질의 세포외 도메인 구조는 neurexin과 유사하며, contactin의 신호전달 서브유닛으로 작용하여 신경세포 내 신호전달 경로의 활성화에 관여할 수 있습니다.
Northern blot 분석 결과, CNTNAP1은 주로 뇌에서 6.2 kb 전사체로 발현되며, 다른 조직에서는 약한 발현을 보입니다.
