For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during the late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle. It associates with euchromatin, centromeric heterochromatin, and the nucleolus via its FHA domain.
Expression is cell-cycle dependent: perinucleolar in G1, nuclear matrix in G2, and chromosomal during M phase.
Because Ki-67 is absent in G0 cells and increases through mitosis, it serves as a reliable proliferation marker.
Ki-67 antibodies are widely used to assess the growth fraction in neoplasms, showing strong correlation between low Ki-67 index and low-grade tumors.
Commonly applied as a neuronal marker for cell cycling and proliferation studies.
