Target Information
ACAP1, 또는 Centaurin-beta-1 (CENTB1)로 알려진 단백질은 Centaurin 계열에 속하는 740 아미노산 길이의 운반 단백질로, 3개의 ANK 반복, Arf-GAP 도메인, BAR 도메인, 그리고 인지질과 결합하는 PH 도메인을 포함합니다.
ACAP1은 ADP ribosylation factor 6 (ARF6)에 대한 GTPase-activating protein (GAP)으로 작용하며, recycling endosome으로부터 trans-Golgi network 및 세포 표면으로의 단백질 수출에 필요한 clathrin 의존적 경로에 관여합니다.
또한 ACAP1은 phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) 또는 phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate (PIP3)를 포함한 막과 결합을 매개합니다.
ACAP2와 함께, ACAP1은 PDGF에 의해 유도된 NIH 3T3 fibroblast의 dorsal membrane ruffle에 모집되며, 과발현 시 ruffle 형성을 억제합니다.
ACAP1은 대부분의 조직에서 발현되며, 폐와 비장에서 높고 심장, 신장, 간, 췌장에서 낮은 발현을 보입니다.
