Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. Secondary antibodies provide versatility for multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enable signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to one primary antibody. Typically, they are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
