Target Information
MYO3B (MYO3 beta)는 Class III myosin 계열의 actin 의존성 모터 단백질로, N-말단 kinase 도메인을 포함합니다.
MYO3B는 kinase, motor, neck, tail 도메인으로 구성되어 있으며, 다양한 splice variant를 형성합니다.
Neck 도메인에는 1~2개의 calmodulin-binding (IQ) motif가 존재하며, tail 도메인에는 3가지 중 하나의 도메인이 포함될 수 있습니다.
Northern blot 분석 결과, human retina에서 7-kb MYO3B 전사체가 발현되며, RPE 세포주에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
또한 kidney, intestine, testis에서도 MYO3B 전사체가 검출됩니다.
MYO3B 유전자는 염색체 2q31.1–q31.2에 위치합니다.
