Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95%, as confirmed by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Target Information
MYO5B may be involved in vesicular trafficking through its association with the CART complex. The CART complex is required for efficient transferrin receptor recycling but not for EGFR degradation.
MYO5B is necessary in a complex with RAB11A and RAB11FIP2 for NPC1L1 transport to the plasma membrane.
Together with RAB11A, MYO5B participates in CFTR trafficking and transferrin recycling in nonpolarized cells.
In conjunction with RAB11A and RAB8A, MYO5B contributes to epithelial cell polarization.
Together with RAB25, it regulates transcytosis.
