Background
The AAMP gene belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. The encoded protein is associated with angiogenesis and plays roles in endothelial tube formation and migration. It may regulate smooth muscle cell migration via the RhoA pathway and can bind to heparin, mediating heparin-sensitive cell adhesion. (RefSeq, Oct 2014)
