Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
RGS10 inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits, driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form. It associates specifically with the activated forms of G protein subunits G(i)-alpha and G(z)-alpha but does not interact with G(s)-alpha. Activity on G(z)-alpha is inhibited by palmitoylation of the G-protein.
