FITC conjugates provide relatively high absorptivity, excellent fluorescence quantum yield, and good water solubility, making them ideal for flow cytometry and fluorescence applications.
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes. It is absent in non-hematopoietic tissues and plays a crucial role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling.
CD45 isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ in extracellular domains but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. CD45RA, one isoform, shows restricted expression among lymphoid subtypes.
CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, T- and B-cell receptor signaling, JAK kinase suppression, and cytokine receptor signaling. It also contributes to cell survival, integrin-mediated signal transduction, and modulation of immunological functions.
