Product Specific Information
- This antibody does not react with Mouse, Rat, or Cow.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed samples): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Nucleolin (NCL) is a eukaryotic nucleolar phosphoprotein involved in the synthesis and maturation of ribosomes. It is primarily localized in the dense fibrillar regions of the nucleolus.
The human NCL gene comprises 14 exons and 13 introns, spanning approximately 11 kb. Intron 11 encodes a small nucleolar RNA, termed U20.
