Target Information
CAMK4 (CaMKIV)는 세린/트레오닌 단백질 키나아제로 CREB, oncoprotein 18, SRF를 인산화합니다. 제한된 조직 분포를 가지며, 림프구, 뉴런, 생식세포에서 전사 조절에 관여합니다.
CaMKIV는 핵 내에 존재하며 칼슘 의존적 유전자 발현을 매개합니다. 특히 고환, T세포, 뉴런에서 풍부하게 발현되며, 시냅스 가소성 및 칼슘 신호전달 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
고환에서 CaMKIV는 생식세포의 염색질과 결합하여 핵 응축 과정 중 염색질 재구성에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
