Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
BRAF is involved in the transduction of mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus. It is activated by somatic point mutation in human cancers and plays a role in postsynaptic responses of hippocampal neurons. This protein regulates the MAP kinase/ERKs signaling pathway, influencing cell division, differentiation, and secretion.
Mutations in B-Raf are associated with various cancers, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and lung adenocarcinoma. A pseudogene for B-Raf is located on chromosome X.
