Target Information
Paraoxonase-1 (PON1)은 칼슘 의존적 에스터 가수분해효소로, HDL의 apoA-I과 밀접하게 결합되어 있습니다. PON1은 LDL의 산화를 방지하여 동맥경화 유발 산화-LDL의 생성을 억제합니다.
인간 PON1 유전자의 다형성은 관상동맥질환과 연관되어 있으며, 당뇨병, 가족성 고콜레스테롤혈증, 신장 질환 등 동맥경화에 취약한 환자군에서 PON1 활성이 낮게 나타납니다.
PON2는 세포 내에서 발현되어 산화적 손상으로부터 보호하며, PON3는 PON1과 유사하지만 기질 특이성이 다릅니다. PON1과 PON3는 모두 관상동맥질환 및 동맥경화 발생 위험을 낮추는 데 관여합니다.
