Target Information
PIK3CG (p110 gamma)은 class IB phosphatidylinositol 3‑kinase 계열의 유일한 구성원으로, class IA PI3K와 함께 세포 내 신호전달에 중요한 PIP2를 생성합니다. Class IA 효소가 주로 receptor tyrosine kinase를 통해 신호를 전달하는 반면, PIK3CG는 GPCR을 통해 신호를 매개합니다.
이 효소는 phosphoinositide를 인산화하여 세포 부착, 상피 구조 유지, NK 세포의 세포독성 조절 등 다양한 세포 기능에 관여합니다. 또한, 염색체 7의 특정 결실 부위에 위치하여 골수성 백혈병과 관련이 있습니다.
