Target Information
CD98 (4F2)는 type II 막통과 당단백질로, 이종이합체성 아미노산 수송체(HATs)의 heavy chain 역할을 합니다. CD98은 disulfide 결합을 통해 다양한 light chain과 연결되어 있으며, 극성 상피세포에서 수송체 복합체의 세포막 발현 및 기저측 위치를 조절합니다. 또한 β1 integrin과 상호작용하여 리간드에 대한 결합 친화도를 증가시킵니다.
CD98은 아미노산 수송 외에도 세포 융합, 활성화, 분화, 성장, 세포사멸 조절에 관여합니다.
