CLEC5A는 TYROBP를 통해 신호를 전달하는 세포 표면 수용체로, 염증 반응을 조절하며 골파골세포 형성을 촉진합니다. 자가면역 관절염에서 활막 손상 및 골 침식의 주요 조절자로 작용합니다. 또한 뎅기 바이러스 1–4형의 중요한 대식세포 수용체로, 바이러스 결합 시 TYROBP 인산화를 통한 염증성 사이토카인 방출을 유도하지만 바이러스 침입은 일어나지 않습니다.
