Target Information
FOXO4 (Forkhead box O4)는 X 염색체에 위치한 FOXO4 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다. AFX1 또는 MLLT7 (Myeloid/Lymphoid or Mixed-Lineage Leukemia (Trithorax Homolog, Translocated To, 7))로도 알려져 있으며, FOXO1, FOXO3, FOXO6과 함께 O class forkhead/winged helix 전사 인자 패밀리에 속합니다. FOXO4는 골격근과 지방 조직에서 풍부하게 발현되며, Insulin Responsive Element (IRE)에 결합하여 Insulin/IGF1 신호의 하위 타깃인 IGFBP1을 활성화합니다. Akt에 의한 FOXO4의 Ser/Thr 잔기 인산화는 14-3-3 단백질과 결합을 매개하여 FOXO4가 핵에서 빠져나가도록 합니다.
