The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Ribosomes are organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, composed of small (40S) and large (60S) subunits containing over 80 distinct ribosomal proteins. Mammalian ribosomal proteins are encoded by multigene families with processed pseudogenes and one functional gene.
Ribosomal Protein LP1 (RPLP1), also known as 60S acidic ribosomal protein P1, RPP1, or RPLP1, is a 114 amino acid acidic protein of the ribosomal protein L12P family. It forms a pentameric complex with LP2 and LP0, regulating ribosome assembly and translation initiation. Multiple processed pseudogenes of RPLP1 exist throughout the genome.
