Target Information
Kynureninase는 pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (pyridoxal-P) 의존성 효소로, L-kynurenine 및 L-3-hydroxykynurenine을 각각 anthranilic acid 및 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid로 절단하는 반응을 촉매합니다.
이 효소는 tryptophan으로부터 NAD 보조인자를 생합성하는 kynurenine 경로에 관여합니다.
두 가지 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
