Product Specific Information
The YGIC86 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Glycoprotein A Repetitions Predominant (GARP, also known as Lrrc32 or Garpin). GARP is an approximately 80 kDa glycoprotein expressed on the cell surface. Expression has been reported in placenta, lung, kidney, heart, ovary, liver, skeletal muscle, and pancreas, and protein expression has been observed on megakaryocytes, platelets, and activated regulatory T (Treg) cells. The expression of GARP on Treg cells is necessary for their suppressive function, possibly related to its role as a cell surface receptor for LAP/TGF beta.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on stimulated mouse splenocytes at ≤ 1 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimize antibody concentration empirically for best performance.
Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 702 is a tandem dye excited at 405 nm and emits at 702 nm. A 710/50 bandpass filter is recommended. Ensure instrument compatibility.
Usage Recommendations:
- When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
- Protect from light (photo-sensitive dye).
- Samples can be fixed using IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) and stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information
GARP (leucine rich repeat containing 32) is a type I membrane protein with 22 leucine-rich repeats and a short intracytoplasmic region. It is expressed in CD4+, CD25+, FoxP3+ regulatory T cells (Tregs) and may serve as a surface marker for these cells.
