Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45237 was sufficient for detection of Aha1 in 10 µg of rat tissue lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-rat IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 38 kDa, can run up to 45 kDa on SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Acts as a co-chaperone of HSP90AA1 (PubMed:29127155). Activates the ATPase activity of HSP90AA1 leading to increased chaperone activity (PubMed:29127155). Competes with inhibitory co-chaperones FNIP1 and TSC1 for binding to HSP90AA1, providing a reciprocal regulatory mechanism for client protein chaperoning (PubMed:27353360, 29127155). [UniProt]
