For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

DNA-binding protein SATB2 binds to DNA at nuclear matrix- or scaffold-associated regions and recognizes the sugar-phosphate structure of double-stranded DNA.
It functions as a transcription factor regulating gene expression by binding to MARs and inducing chromatin-loop remodeling.
SATB2 acts as a docking site for chromatin remodeling enzymes, recruiting HDACs or HATs directly to promoters and enhancers.
It is essential for the initiation of upper-layer neuron-specific genetic programs and repression of deep-layer neuron genes, partly via BCL11B modulation.
SATB2 is a repressor of Ctip2 and plays a key role in corticocortical connection development.
Mutations are associated with cleft palate isolated (CPI).
