Product Specific Information

This DyLight™ 800 conjugated affinity-purified antibody is directed against human ERK1 protein.
Cross-reactivity is expected with human, mouse, and rat based on sequence identity of the peptide immunogen.
This antibody does not react with the ERK2 isoform.
Target Information
MAPK3 (ERK1) is a serine/threonine kinase that activates p90, RSK, MSK, ELK1, and Stat3, and is involved in the MAPK pathway.
ERK1 regulates meiosis, mitosis, and post-mitotic functions in differentiated cells.
Activated by upstream kinases, ERK1 translocates to the nucleus to phosphorylate nuclear targets.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms have been described.
