Product Specific Information
The monoclonal mouse IgG2b kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. - Fluorochrome: Brilliant Violet™ 711 (BV711) emits at 713 nm and is intended for use on cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser.
- Buffer Recommendation: When using polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
- Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
- Compatibility: BV711 is not compatible with methanol-based fixation.
- Excitation/Emission: 407 nm / 713 nm; Laser: Violet Laser.
