Target Information
ARPC1A is one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. This subunit belongs to the SOP2 family and is most similar to ARPC1B. Both may function as the p41 subunit of the Arp2/3 complex, which is involved in actin polymerization control. The p41 subunit likely contributes to the assembly and structural maintenance of the complex, and different isoforms may adapt its function to various cell types or developmental stages.
