Target Information
IMPDH2는 de novo 구아닌 뉴클레오타이드 생합성의 속도 제한 효소를 암호화하며, DNA 및 RNA 합성에 필요한 세포 내 구아닌 뉴클레오타이드 풀을 유지하는 데 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 NAD 의존적 산화 반응을 촉매하여 inosine-5'-monophosphate를 xanthine-5'-monophosphate로 전환시키며, 이후 guanosine-5'-monophosphate로 변환됩니다. 일부 신생물에서 발현이 증가되어 악성 전환과 관련될 가능성이 있습니다.
