Target Information
Sin1은 S. pombe의 SIN1과 상동성을 가진 인간 단백질로 처음 확인되었습니다. 이후 연구에서 Mip1과 동일한 단백질로 밝혀졌으며, MEKK2와 상호작용하여 MAPK 신호전달 네트워크 내에서 MEKK2의 활성화와 이합체화를 억제하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. MAPKAP1은 TOR 신호전달 경로에도 관여하며, 세포 성장 및 증식 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 TOR/rictor 복합체의 안정성을 유지하여 Akt의 특이적 인산화를 유도하는 것으로 보고되었습니다. MAPKAP1의 여러 스플라이싱 이소폼이 존재합니다.
