Target Information
HtrA3는 인간 high-temperature requirement factor A (HtrA) 패밀리에 속하며, pregnancy-related serine protease로도 알려져 있습니다. HtrA3는 alternative splicing에 의해 생성되는 두 가지 isoform(긴 형태와 짧은 형태)을 가지고 있습니다. HtrA1과 유사하게 다양한 TGF-beta 단백질에 결합하며 BMP-4, BMP-2 및 TGF-beta 1의 신호를 억제합니다. 그러나 활성화된 BMP 수용체에 의해 유도된 신호는 억제하지 않아, 억제가 세포 표면 수용체 상류 단계에서 발생함을 시사합니다.
