Product Specific Information
This antibody is pan-specific and reacts well with all Laminin isoforms tested, including Laminin-1 (alpha-1, beta-1, gamma-1) and Laminin-2 (alpha-2, beta-1, gamma-1).
It functionally inhibits Laminin in mouse and rat by binding to Laminin and blocking most of its cell adhesion and growth-promoting properties.
Immunostaining is enhanced by antigen retrieval with pepsin, particularly in paraffin-embedded tissue.
Suggested positive control: basement membranes (blood vessels of any tissue, tumors, nerve).
