Product Specific Information
- Rehydrate with 0.55 mL of deionized water and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve.
- Product has been overfilled to ensure complete recovery.
- Centrifuge to remove particulates and prepare fresh working dilution daily.
- Stability: 1 year from date of receipt.
- Prepare working dilution prior to use and discard afterward.
- Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin human serum proteins, light chains on all human immunoglobulins, human IgA or IgG.
Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of specified targets.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
