Target Information
CD46 (MCP, membrane cofactor protein)은 다기능성 세포막 단백질로, C3b와 C4b 보체 단편을 결합 및 불활성화하여 T 세포 유도 염증 반응을 조절합니다.
CD46-1 isoform은 과민반응을 억제하고, CD46-2 isoform은 반응을 증가시킵니다.
CD46은 여러 인간 병원체(세균 및 바이러스)의 수용체로 작용하며, T 림프구의 항원제시세포 또는 표적세포에 대한 극화를 변화시켜 림프구 기능을 억제합니다.
또한 태반 조직 보호에 관여하며, 정자의 내측 acrosomal membrane에도 발현됩니다.
