Target Information
STAT1 (Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription 1)은 STAT 전사인자 패밀리에 속하며, interferon-alpha, interferon-gamma, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등에 의해 활성화됩니다.
STAT1은 세포 성장, 세포사멸, 면역 반응, 지질 대사 관련 유전자 발현을 조절하며, 다양한 세포 자극과 병원체 노출에 따른 세포 생존성에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
STAT1 유전자는 염색체 2번에 위치하며, JAK tyrosine kinase에 의해 인산화된 후 핵으로 이동하여 다양한 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다.
STAT1, STAT3, STAT5a, STAT5b는 광범위한 활성화를 보이며, IFN (IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, IL-10), gp130 (IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF), RTK (EGF, PDGF, CSF-1) 등의 리간드에 의해 활성화됩니다.
두 가지 스플라이싱 변이체가 존재하며, 서로 다른 isoform을 생성합니다.
