Target Information
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is an enzyme encoded by the CAP1 gene mapped to 1p34.2. The protein is related to the S. cerevisiae CAP protein involved in the cyclic AMP pathway. The human CAP1 protein interacts with other CAP1 molecules, CAP2, and actin. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
