Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-13Rα2, recombinant mouse IL-13Rα1, rhIL-5Rα, rhIL-5Rβ, rhIL-4R, and rhIL-9R is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
The IL13RA1 gene encodes a subunit of the interleukin-13 receptor. This subunit forms a receptor complex with IL4 receptor alpha, shared by IL13 and IL4 receptors. It serves as the primary IL13-binding subunit and may also be part of IL4 receptors. IL13RA1 binds tyrosine kinase TYK2, mediating signaling that activates JAK1, STAT3, and STAT6 induced by IL13 and IL4.
