Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. These reagents are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of their specific targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Most secondary antibodies are produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
