- A 1:100 dilution of MA5-45744 was sufficient for detection of Kir6.1 in 20 µg of mouse brain lysate by ECL immunoblot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 45 kDa.
- This antibody was formerly sold as clone S366-60.
Target Information
Potassium channels are present in most mammalian cells, where they participate in a wide range of physiologic responses.
KCNJ8 is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel.
It has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell, and is controlled by G-proteins.
