Product Description

The Enteroviruses are a genus of the family Picornaviridae, consisting of small, positive-sense ssRNA viruses. Over 70 serotypes have been isolated from humans, including poliovirus, Coxsackie A/B, ECHO viruses, and others. Enteroviruses cause millions of infections annually, leading to various symptoms such as mild respiratory illness, hand-foot-mouth disease, rashes, conjunctivitis, meningitis, myocarditis, and neonatal infections.

Storage Conditions

The kit is shipped on dry ice and should be stored at -20°C upon arrival. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles (>3×) of Master Mix and Positive Control. If used intermittently, aliquot before freezing. Contact Norgen Biotek if any components arrive unfrozen or compromised.
