Skp2 (S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2)는 Cyclin A-Cdk2 복합체와 상호작용하는 F-box 단백질 계열에 속합니다. Skp2는 전환된 세포와 이배체 섬유아세포 모두에서 G1-S 전이 과정에 필수적이며, p27의 유비퀴틴화 및 분해에 관여합니다. 정상 조직에서는 편도선과 태반에서 발현되며, 종양 조직에서는 폐, 유방, 난소, 자궁내막암 등 다양한 암종에서 높은 발현이 보고되었습니다. 연구 결과 Skp2는 림프종 및 유방암의 발암 과정과 관련이 있는 것으로 제시됩니다.
