Anti-Histone H3 [ac Lys23] 항체는 인간 Histone H3와 반응하며, BLAST 분석 결과 인간, 생쥐, C. elegans에 교차 반응함이 제시되었습니다.
Rat, Chicken, Xenopus, Drosophila, Plant 등에서도 100% 서열 상동성에 기반해 반응이 예측됩니다.
다른 종의 Histone H3에 대한 교차 반응성은 확인되지 않았습니다.
Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질에 존재하는 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나입니다.
H3는 다른 핵심 히스톤 단백질들과 함께 DNA와 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성하며, 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성에 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
히스톤 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 다양한 번역 후 변형(post-translational modification)을 거쳐 크로마틴 구조 변화 또는 전사 인자 결합을 조절합니다.
이러한 변형에는 리신과 아르기닌의 메틸화 및 아세틸화, 세린과 트레오닌의 인산화가 포함됩니다.
