Description:
The RA3-6B2 monoclonal antibody recognizes the exon A-restricted isoform of mouse CD45 (220 kDa). CD45R/B220 epitope is expressed mainly by B cell lineage from early Pro-B to mature B cells. It may also be expressed on some activated T cells, lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells, NK cell progenitors, and certain mutant T cells (lpr/lpr).

Applications Reported:
Suitable for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Optimize antibody titration for best results.

Alexa Fluor 660 emits at 690 nm, suitable for spectral cytometers.

Target Information

CD45R (PTPRC):
A member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family involved in regulating cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. CD45 is expressed in hematopoietic cells and regulates T- and B-cell receptor signaling. It exists in multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions. CD45 is crucial for lymphocyte development, antigen signaling, and integrin-mediated survival signaling. Dysfunctions are associated with immunodeficiency and hepatitis C.
