Target Information
The Golgi apparatus participates in glycosylation and transport of proteins and lipids in the secretory pathway and consists of stacked cisternae. Golgin proteins, including Golgin A2, are localized to the Golgi and are thought to play roles in cisternae stacking and vesicular transport. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, though their full-length forms are not fully determined.
