• Reconstitution:
  Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
  The antibody is shipped as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
  Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
  The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C (protected from light) for up to 1 week.
  For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
  Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
  Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

The cysteinyl leukotrienes LTC4, LTD4, and LTE4 are important mediators of human bronchial asthma. Pharmacologic studies have shown that these leukotrienes activate at least two receptors: the protein encoded by this gene (CysLTR1) and CYSLTR2.
CysLTR1 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily.
Activation by LTD4 leads to smooth muscle contraction and proliferation, edema, eosinophil migration, and mucus layer damage in the lung.
