RP-87674 has been tested in indirect ELISA.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge the vial briefly (~30 seconds) before opening to bring contents to the bottom. Reconstitute with 400 µL of deionized sterile water to obtain a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL. Let the tube sit on ice for ~30 minutes with gentle pipetting periodically.

The CoV Spike (S) protein plays key roles in viral attachment, fusion, and entry, serving as a target for antibody, entry inhibitor, and vaccine development.
The receptor-binding domain (RBD, S-RBD) of the Spike protein binds strongly to human and bat angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptors. SARS-CoV-2 RBD exhibits significantly higher binding affinity to ACE2 compared to SARS-CoV RBD.
The S1 subunit contains the RBD that specifically interacts with ACE2 receptors on target cells.
